Garden Mojitonico

This savory version of the Havanna classic is a great way to get your garden into your glass!

Serves 1

3 lime wedges
3 inches of cucumber, rough chopped
¼ green tomato, rough chopped
handful fresh herbs (a garden-inspired
blend of basil, thyme, mint, tarragon,
cilantro, dill, Italian parsley, oregano,
and rosemary works well.)
salt, pinch
fresh cracked pepper, pinch
1.5 oz. Hendricks Gin
Tonic water

Muddle lime wedges, cucumber, green tomato, and herbs until juicy in a strong 16-oz. pint glass. Season with salt and pepper. Add gin and fill glass with ice. Top off with Tonic water. Garnish with a bamboo skewer of veggies, and serve with a long straw.

Variation: Substitute heirloom tomatoes for green tomatoes, increase the lime to ½ a lime, and use a handful of basil for the herb portion.
