Cazuela

This citrus punch, which Seger calls an “adult Gatorade,” is boosted by a pinch of salt. Use the best quality salt you can find. Seger advises sea salt, sel gris, or—best of all—Hawaiian pink salt.

Serves 1

an assortment of citrus fruits
salt, pinch
1.5 oz. Gran Centennario Blanco Tequila
(or other white tequila)
Fresca
ice

Put equal parts orange, lemon, lime, and grapefruit (cut into eighths) wedges into a 16-oz. glass, filling it ¾ full of fruit. Muddle until juicy and condensed to half of the glass. Add a generous pinch of salt. Fill with ice, and add tequila. Top off with a generous splash of Fresca.
