Batido Daiquiri
This recipe makes a Brazilian shaken daiquiri with texture.
Serves 1
1.5 oz. simple syrup
2 oz. cachaça (Brazilian sugar cane rum)
1/3 c. chopped fruit (any seasonal
combination you like)
¼ lime, juiced
ice
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ¾ c. crushed ice. Shake well and pour. Do not strain; enjoy with the texture of the fruit.
