Chocolate Malteds
Make these close to serving so that they don’t become too runny.
Makes six 6 oz. servings
1 c. whole milk
1 c. heavy cream
4 oz. bittersweet chocolate
¼ c. sugar
¾ c. malt powder
1 pint chocolate ice cream
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
In a medium saucepan, scald milk and cream. Add chocolate, sugar, and malt. Stir to combine. Chill overnight.
Scoop ice cream into blender. Cover with chocolate malt base. Blend until desired consistency is reached. Serve in small glasses, topped with whipped cream.
