Grilled Steak Fries
Start these in the oven and finish them on the grill.
Serves 4
3 Tbsp. garlic
¾ c. olive oil
2 tsp. fresh thyme, chopped
1 tsp. fresh rosemary, chopped
½ tsp. ground black pepper
2 large Idaho potatoes
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine the olive oil, garlic, herbs, and pepper. Slice the potatoes in half lengthwise and then into 6 or 8 wedges. Brush the potatoes with the oil until lightly coated. Place skin-side down on a nonstick pan. Roast for 30 to 40 minutes, turning frequently and basting. Baste the potatoes again and grill over high heat for 10 minutes.
